Gancho series by GAD ® (Global Angels Dedicated) are comfortable, reliable and hard-working rods, oriented, first of all, for fishing with lures, requiring active presentation (such as Twiching using jerkbaits) and retrieve, e.g. spoons. Hardly had it appeared, Gancho became very popular in many countries and it is successfully used both by amateurs and professionals.
For the season of 2019 new GAD Gancho was introduced. In its production the same mid-module graphite materials are used, but the carbon yarns have a bigger diameter, the components of the binder were changed with its percentage reduced.
Some changes were introduced into the blank construction. The reason for it is that it was necessary to adapt them for a new type of anti-tangling guides (Fuji FazLite).
Fazlite rings are perfectly adapted for braided lines (braid-proof), they have a distinguishing feature – they are silk smooth, also they are strong and resilient enough. Having traditionally secure gear, Fuji can increase the range of the cast and sensitivity of the whole tackle. Anti-tangling Fuji FazLite guides, minimizing any troubles with the line, undergo a special process called Corrosion control. As a result, they become 7 times more resilient to corrosion than stainless steel.Experts think that new Gancho rods have become “more stringent”, the tactile sensitivity has been increased, some working qualities have been improved, at the same time its reliability so highly valued by the fishermen has been retained.

GAD Gancho rods were always quite popular among those who prefer fishing with casting gear. By most accounts, it is the best variant for those who begin fishing with casting rods. It is widely appreciated that it is predictable and clearly works with the load, which enables to master different types of casts, to a full extent and without any tricks. It is typical that becoming more experienced fishermen never forget about these well-simple rods. Gancho are so comfortable that even professionals use them, giving them credit for quality and simplicity. It’s a willing horse in long trips and difficult fishing conditions!
