Megabass BATRA-X – floating hollow-body surface frog 51 mm 17.7 g

Megabass BATRA-X is a transformable hollow-body surface frog developed as a joint project between Megabass and Monster Kiss, led by big-fish angler Takuya Kozuka. Unlike conventional hollow frogs, BATRA-X uses removable and adjustable components that allow its action and configuration to be changed for different situations.

At 51 mm and 5/8 oz. (approximately 17.7 g), its compact high-volume bullet-style body provides excellent casting performance. Rod-tip movements create nimble side-to-side table-turn action.

A removable soft cup can be fitted to the nose. With the cup installed, a straight retrieve generates repeated surface action, splashing and noisy attraction. Removing the cup changes the lure into a more maneuverable frog-style surface bait.

A penetration-type wire swivel carries the Rumble Tail and tail hook. The tail adds sound and vibration, and its center has a 2.9 mm hole that can accept a glow element or nail sinker. The tail hook position can also be adjusted.

BATRA-X is designed for surface fishing around vegetation and heavy cover. Its transformable design allows the angler to alter the lure according to cover, retrieve style and target situation.
