Megabass BIG-M 2.0 is a large crankbait designed to efficiently cover the 2 m depth range. This allows the BIG-M big-crank concept to target predators holding higher in the water column, around shallow cover, or fish willing to rise from deeper water to attack.

Developed around the ideas of Lake Biwa specialist Shinji Sato, BIG-M 2.0 is designed not simply to run at 2 m, but to use its large profile, intense flash and active movement to draw large predators upward and trigger feeding chases.

Its low-center-of-gravity flat-sided body produces sharp rolling action and overwhelming flashes. The lure maintains a relatively tight swimming action while its broad sides throw light over a wide area.

The specially shaped Scoop Bill catches water effectively to generate rolling action and intense flashing. BIG-M 2.0 can be worked above the bottom, along underwater slopes, vegetation edges and in contact with shallow cover.

Despite its large 126 mm body and approximately 56 g weight, BIG-M 2.0 offers surprisingly low retrieve resistance. Megabass hydrodynamic engineering reduces unnecessary water pressure, making prolonged big-crank fishing more comfortable.

A high-density triple moving-balancer system stabilizes the large flat-sided body during casting and provides outstanding distance, even when casting into challenging winds. Long casts create an extended productive retrieve zone, which is particularly valuable when searching broad areas for large predators.

BIG-M 2.0 is particularly suitable for large pike. Its 126 mm profile, strong flash and approximately 2 m working depth make it effective over deeper water, around vegetation edges, slopes and other structure. Its large profile can also be used for catfish, while the lure's original concept is designed to draw large bass from below the 2 m range.
