Megabass BIG-M 7.5 – super-deep crankbait 114 mm 60 g

Megabass BIG-M 7.5 is a super-deep crankbait inspired by the BIG-M 4.0's combination of low retrieve resistance, powerful flash and stable rolling action. More than three years of super-deep crank testing in the United States helped refine the concept and extend the BIG-M design to the 7.5 m depth range.

Built to reach up to 7.5 m (24 ft) on a normal cast, BIG-M 7.5 is about more than maximum depth. Megabass retained lively action, precise control and low retrieve resistance to reduce the fatigue commonly associated with traditional super-deep crankbaits.

High flat sides generate powerful flash, while the super-low center of gravity supports stable rolling action. BIG-M 7.5 reacts dynamically to bottom and cover contact, creating sudden changes of movement that can trigger strikes.

A high-density triple moving-balancer system provides stable, tumble-free long casts. Casting distance is especially important because it gives the lure enough room to reach maximum depth and remain in the productive zone longer.

The BIG-M 7.5 body is sleeker than BIG-M 4.0 to reduce water resistance and retrieve fatigue. Megabass hydrodynamic engineering allows the lure to gain extreme depth without sacrificing refined action or tackle sensitivity.

In deep water, the large profile, powerful flash and aggressive presence create a highly visible target for predators. BIG-M 7.5 was developed by Lake Biwa specialist Shinji Sato, Yuki Ito and the new-generation Megabass design team.

BIG-M 7.5 is particularly suitable for targeting large pike in deep lakes and reservoirs. Its size and extreme diving capability also make it an option for catfish, while its original deep-cranking concept is highly effective for bass holding far below the surface.
