Pontoon21 CrackJack 78F-MR is a floating minnow lure designed for a medium 1.3–1.7 m running depth. The 78 mm, 9.8 g model suits weed edges, underwater slopes, rivers and other areas that call for a stable medium-running presentation. It is suitable for pike, perch and zander.
Key features. The Magnetic Force Balance (MFB) system uses a moving stainless-steel ball. During casting, it shifts towards the tail, helping the lure travel farther and more accurately. Once retrieval begins, the ball returns to its working position and is held by a magnet. This maintains proper balance, stable action at different speeds and in current, and a quick response to rod-tip movements.
Action and application. On a steady retrieve, CrackJack 78F-MR combines rolling and wobbling, while twitching makes it dart actively to the sides. Its floating body rises during pauses, allowing the angler to adjust the presentation through jerk strength, retrieve speed and pause duration. It works with steady, twitching and stop-and-go retrieves and is fitted with Owner treble hooks. The CrackJack series also includes 38, 48, 58 and 98 mm models, floating (F) and suspending (SP) options, with SR, MR or DR running depths.
Why choose it:
• 78 mm, 9.8 g floating F version;
• medium-running MR model with a 1.3–1.7 m working depth;
• Magnetic Force Balance system for long, accurate casts;
• lively rolling and wobbling action, stable at different speeds and in current;
• suited to twitching, steady and stop-and-go retrieves; Owner treble hooks.
