Pontoon21 Deephase is a compact deep-diving crankbait designed to work at 3.5–4.0 m. Measuring 70 mm and weighing 15.6 g, this floating (F) lure presents a relatively small prey profile at depths often covered with much larger deep-running crankbaits.

The large, wide diving lip drives Deephase efficiently to its 3.5–4.0 m working depth. It is useful for covering deeper lake areas, underwater slopes, holes and areas close to the bottom.

The wide lip also acts as a deflector around cover. When it contacts the bottom, branches or other underwater obstacles, the lip takes the initial impact and helps the lure bounce away. The lure quickly returns to its normal working position, making it useful around underwater cover.

Deephase produces a broad, rhythmic crankbait action combined with an acoustic effect that helps attract predators. The Magnetic Force Balance (MFB) system helps maintain proper working balance.

The lure is suitable for both casting and trolling. When trolled, Deephase efficiently reaches its working depth, making it practical for systematically covering the 3.5–4.0 m range. It is particularly useful for summer pike when the fish respond better to a smaller but aggressively working lure. The compact 70 mm body presents modest-sized prey, while the active action and sound keep the lure noticeable.

Deephase can also be used for zander and catfish, particularly when these predators are holding within its working depth. In rivers, the lure can also be allowed to drift downstream to a selected area before the retrieve begins.

The floating (F) design adds control around obstacles. When the retrieve is stopped, Deephase rises, allowing the angler to alter the running depth or let the lure climb over cover.
