  • DUO Bay RUF Tide Vib 80 is a sinking vib, or rattlin-style, lure designed to cover broad and deep areas efficiently. At 80 mm and 25 g, it quickly reaches the selected depth and can be worked through mid-water layers or close to the bottom. Its strong vibration and internal rattles stimulate a predator’s lateral line, helping fish locate the lure in murky water and reduced visibility.
    Key features. The durable fixed-weight body delivers stable action, clear feedback and long casting performance. Its flexible dorsal fin is made from a specialised rubber material that withstands impacts better than a rigid plastic detail. The belly hook eye swivels around its axis, reducing hook leverage and making it harder for a fighting fish to shake free. Strong vibration is easily felt through the rod and helps the angler monitor the lure.
    Action and application. Tide Vib 80 can be fished with a simple jigging-style sequence: let it sink to the chosen depth, retrieve steadily or lift it with the rod, then pause so it drops again. This makes it easy to locate the exact layer holding predators. The body often meets obstacles with its front edge and rolls over them, reducing snag risk, although it is not snag-proof. It is especially useful when pike, perch or zander hold deep and refuse to rise to higher-running lures.
