  • DUO Realis Apex Vibe 100 is a large sinking lipless vibration lure developed with renowned US tournament angler Aaron Martens. It was designed for trophy bass, while in European waters its size, weight and action are especially well suited to big pike and zander.
    Key features. At 100 mm and 32 g, the lure presents a large, highly visible profile. Its action differs from the fine, rapid buzz of many lipless lures: Apex Vibe 100 produces slower, powerful thumps and displaces a substantial amount of water. This makes the lure easy to feel through the rod and noticeable to predators in deeper water.
    Action and application. Apex Vibe 100 can be retrieved steadily at different speeds, worked with lifts and drops, or jigged vertically. On a pause it sinks at an angle with the keel down and rests upright when it reaches the bottom. It starts vibrating immediately when lifted, making it effective for rip-and-drop presentations close to the bottom.

    Retrieve options. For active pike, use a steady retrieve or stronger lifts followed by a controlled fall. Zander often respond better to restrained lifts, controlled drops and longer pauses close to the bottom. When fishing vertically, maintain contact with the lure and adjust the strength of each movement to the activity of the fish.
    Other size in the series. The current Realis Apex Vibe range consists of F85 and Apex Vibe 100. F85 is shorter at 85 mm and 26 g, but has a thicker, deeper body and a slow, wide action. Apex Vibe 100 is longer, heavier and creates a larger overall profile; choose it when a bigger presentation, stronger thumps or deeper fishing are required.
