  • DUO Rough Trail Malice 130 is a heavy, compact sinking jig minnow for anglers who need to reach distant feeding fish and control a lure through different parts of the water column. Its 130 mm body carries 64 g of weight, making it suitable for shore, rock, breakwater and boat casting for powerful saltwater predators.
    Key features. A fixed centre of gravity and aerodynamic profile provide stable long-range casting, even in wind or with a thicker leader. The defining feature of Rough Trail Malice is its attractive horizontal fall. Although the lure is heavy, its slim body creates water resistance and the carefully tuned weight balance produces a natural descent that resembles a weak or injured baitfish.
    Action and application. After the cast, count the lure down to select the required depth. A steady retrieve suits actively feeding fish, while jerks, longer sweeps and pauses create direction changes followed by a horizontal fall. The pause immediately after splashdown or between retrieve sequences can be the key strike trigger. Malice 130 is designed for tuna, bonito, amberjack and other powerful saltwater predators.
    Why choose it:
    • 130 mm, 64 g sinking jig minnow;
    • aerodynamic body for long and accurate casts;
    • horizontal fall imitates a weak baitfish;
    • covers surface, mid-water and deeper zones;
    • fixed-weight construction with size #1 treble hooks.
    Specifications. Model – Rough Trail Malice 130; length – 130 mm; weight – 64 g; type – jig minnow; buoyancy – sinking; weight system – fixed centre of gravity; working range – free, controlled by countdown and retrieve speed; hooks – size #1 trebles; application – saltwater casting and long-range fishing; recommended retrieves – steady, jerks, sweeps and pauses.
    Which Rough Trail Malice model should you choose? Malice 130 is the more compact option, matching medium-sized baitfish and working with more versatile tackle. Choose Malice 150 when a larger silhouette and bigger meal profile are needed for large saltwater predators.
