Pontoon21 GagaGoon 55SS-SR is a 55 mm, 4.6 g slow-sinking (SS) minnow lure with a running depth of 0.5–1.0 m. This compact lure is designed for shallower water layers and allows the angler to control presentation depth through both retrieve speed and pauses.

One of GagaGoon's distinctive design features is its PBD (Prism Body Design). The prism-shaped body is designed to remain visually noticeable from different viewing angles. As the lure moves, changing reflections provide additional visual attraction.

GagaGoon uses the original KKBS (Koto-Koto Balanced System). It consists of two balls of different density that are able to move slightly from side to side. This causes the body to produce subtle vibrations not only during the retrieve but also during pauses.

The slow-sinking SS version descends horizontally during a pause while maintaining delicate body movement. This is an important GagaGoon characteristic because the lure continues to look alive even when it is not being actively retrieved. Pauses can therefore be used both as a triggering element and to reach the desired depth.

The SR version works at 0.5–1.0 m, making it suitable for river shallows, near-bank areas, water above submerged vegetation and other locations where predators are holding in the upper water layer.

At 55 mm, the lure remains compact enough to imitate a small baitfish while offering a larger profile than the 45 mm GagaGoon. It is suitable for perch, trout and chub, as well as other predators feeding on small baitfish.

GagaGoon can be fished with a steady retrieve, changes of speed, short twitches and pauses. Its slow-sinking behavior makes stop-and-go presentations particularly interesting, as the lure slowly descends and continues to vibrate during the pause.
