Pontoon21 GreedyGuts 111F-SR – twitching minnow for pike 111 mm 18.4 g

Pontoon21 GreedyGuts 111F-SR is a large, active and highly controllable minnow designed primarily for pike fishing. Its unusually tall, deep-bellied body has a pronounced widening in the belly that creates the silhouette of a clumsy, vulnerable baitfish.

The 111 mm, 18.4 g F-SR version is floating and runs at 0.9–1.3 m. This shallow-running model suits vegetation edges, shallow slopes, bays and other areas where pike hold at around one metre.

On a steady retrieve GreedyGuts produces active wobbling and rolling action. Its tall sides create visible flashes and strong water displacement, but the lure reveals its full potential when twitched.

Short or stronger rod jerks make the lure change direction, slide to the sides and move irregularly. Adjusting jerk strength, frequency and pause length makes it possible to match the presentation to fish activity.

When the retrieve stops, the floating version begins to rise. This helps guide the lure above vegetation, branches and other obstacles and creates an additional triggering movement when twitching resumes.

MFB System II uses one moving balance ball and a magnet in the floating version. During casting the weight shifts toward the rear to improve flight stability, distance and accuracy. Once the retrieve begins, it returns to the working position and is stabilized by the magnetic system.

The 111 mm size and substantial clumsy baitfish profile are aimed primarily at pike. GreedyGuts 111F-SR also works well for zander when trolling, especially when they hunt larger baitfish in shallower water or rise above the bottom.
