Pontoon21 GreedyGuts 66F-MDR – twitching minnow 66 mm 7 g

Pontoon21 GreedyGuts 66F-MDR is an active and highly controllable minnow with an unusually tall, deep-bellied body. A pronounced widening in the belly creates the silhouette of a clumsy, vulnerable fry. The body shape and MFB System II (Magnetic Force Balance) contribute to both casting performance and lure action.

The 66 mm, 7 g F-MDR version is floating and runs at 1.5–2.0 m. This deeper-running model is suitable for slopes, vegetation edges and other areas where predators hold below the depth reached by the SR version.

On a steady retrieve GreedyGuts produces expressive wobbling and rolling action. Twitching, jerking and short rod pulls make it change direction and move irregularly, while adjustments to pull strength, frequency and pause length allow varied presentations.

When the retrieve stops, the floating version begins to rise. This helps guide the lure above obstacles and creates an additional triggering movement when the retrieve resumes.

MFB System II uses one moving balance ball and a magnet in the floating version. During casting the weight shifts toward the rear to improve flight stability and distance. Once the retrieve begins, it returns to the working position and is stabilized by the magnetic system.

The versatile 66 mm size makes GreedyGuts 66F-MDR suitable for a wide range of predators, including pike, perch, trout and asp. It can be fished with steady retrieves, twitching, short pulls or active movements combined with pauses.
