Megabass GH51 HUMPBACK (FS) – fast sinking trout minnow 51 mm 5.1 g

Megabass GH51 HUMPBACK (FS) is a compact fast-sinking lure from the Great Hunting series, developed for trout fishing in fast rivers, deeper pools and places where the lure must quickly reach the required water layer. At 51 mm and 5.1 g, it carries substantial weight for its compact size, supporting accurate casting and effective control in stronger current.
A distinctive feature of GH51 HUMPBACK is its tall yet thin body. This profile helps the lure maintain stability in current while producing pronounced rolling action. When twitched, the lure changes direction sharply and flashes its sides, imitating a small baitfish struggling in current or trying to escape.
The Fast Sinking design is particularly useful in mountain streams and other fast-flowing rivers. After the cast, GH51 HUMPBACK sinks quickly, allowing the retrieve to begin at the required depth even in short pools and compact deeper sections where a lighter lure may not have enough distance to reach the target layer.
The lure can be used with a steady retrieve, short twitching movements or a combination of both. Its stability is valuable in strong current, while rod-tip movements add flashing and sudden directional changes that can trigger predatory fish.
In Europe, GH51 HUMPBACK (FS) is primarily intended for trout. It can also be used for sea trout in smaller rivers and for perch when a compact, fast-sinking and actively controlled lure is required.
