Megabass Kanata 160 mm 30 g floating jerkbait lure

Megabass Kanata is a large but very easy-to-control Japanese jerkbait lure designed for predators willing to attack bigger prey. This 160 mm, 30 g floating lure works around 0.8–1.2 m and is ideal when anglers need a large profile, lively action and long casting distance without using extremely powerful tackle.
Body Shape
Kanata has a tall yet slim body. These proportions make the lure look big and worth attacking, while the thin profile keeps it easy to control. Anglers can fish a 16 cm lure without overloading their tackle and still maintain good control during both steady retrieve and twitching.
Action
Although Kanata is a large lure, it works lightly and lively in the water. As it cuts through the water, it rolls steadily from side to side, produces strong flash and maintains the clean stability expected from a quality Japanese lure. Twitching can create stronger direction changes, while a slower retrieve keeps the lure stable, visible and provocative.
Balancing System
Inside, Megabass Kanata uses the Tungsten Triple Oscillating balancing system. It gives the lure excellent casting distance and helps turn such a large lure into a long-range bait. During the cast the weights improve flight, while during the retrieve they help maintain stable, easy-to-control action.
Application
Anglers choose Kanata when targeting big pike, large zander or other predators that respond to bigger prey. It is suitable for shallow lake areas, weed edges, shallow flats, bays, slower river sections and places where predators hunt higher in the water column. Although the working depth is around 0.8–1.2 m, the large profile and lively action can lift fish from deeper water.
