Megabass LIVE-X MODEL1 revives one of the original Megabass lures from the early 1990s, combining the classic LIVE-X concept with the latest technology and modern hydrodynamics. It is neither a conventional shad nor minnow, and it is not simply a crankbait – LIVE-X has a distinctive action and character of its own.
The integrated LBO II (PAT.) system improves balance and casting performance. Compared with conventional lures of a similar volume, LIVE-X can achieve more than 30% greater casting distance into a headwind, helping anglers reach distant fish and cover productive areas more effectively.
Modern body hydrodynamics give LIVE-X an extremely sharp flashing action and lifelike prey movement. The lure maintains an active, expressive action at both slow and fast retrieve speeds, allowing the presentation to be adjusted to different levels of fish activity. Its movement is designed to provoke even less active predators.
LIVE-X MODEL1 performs especially well in zones around 2 m deep or shallower, where its agile action and ability to negotiate cover allow it to be worked effectively through productive areas. At the same time, LIVE-X can attract fish holding around 3.5 m or deeper.
For European fishing, LIVE-X MODEL1 is particularly well suited to perch and pike. Its 74 mm size is highly versatile for these predators, while the ability to vary retrieve speed makes it suitable for both active and cautious fish.
