Megabass MARINE GANG Cookai 120F is a floating minnow lure whose main strengths are casting distance and stable action. In Lithuanian waters and similar conditions, it is useful for pike fishing in larger open areas where fish are cautious and do not allow the boat to come close.
The 120 mm, 19 g Cookai 120F has a slim, elongated body. This profile imitates a narrow baitfish, making the lure useful when predators are feeding on longer baitfish or holding further away from the shore.
Megabass uses the LBO II balancing system in this model. During the cast, the weight shifts quickly toward the tail, helping the lure fly farther and more stable. Once the retrieve starts, the weight returns to the working position and the lure begins its action in the first metres.
Cookai 120F works well on steady retrieves, slower retrieves, faster search retrieves and in current. The lure keeps a rolling action, stays stable more easily and can be used both during the day and at night when fish respond to a minnow profile.
This model is useful when a wider area has to be covered from a longer distance: over weed tops, along breaks, over fish holding higher in the water or around baitfish schools in open water. The floating body allows pauses, while the 120 mm profile remains visible enough for better pike.
