Megabass MR-X GRIFFON is a compact GRIFFON series crankbait designed for medium depths and active fishing around underwater cover. Its 43 mm body starts working quickly, produces strong vibration and maintains stable action in current.
One of the key features of MR-X GRIFFON is its signature pinball-style deflection. When the lure contacts a rock, branch, stump or bottom irregularity, it briefly changes direction and quickly returns to stable action. This sudden change of direction can trigger a strike immediately after contact with cover.
The MR-X version runs deeper than SR-X GRIFFON, reaching a maximum depth of approximately 2.5 m. This makes it suitable for deeper river sections, edges of holes, rocky bottom, current seams, submerged branches and other productive areas. Its floating design allows the lure to rise when the retrieve is paused, helping it clear obstacles.
In Lithuanian and European conditions, MR-X GRIFFON is particularly suitable for chub, ide and perch, and in certain situations also for asp. Its compact 43 mm profile resembles small prey fish, while the active action keeps the lure highly noticeable even in current.
