  • Megabass ONETEN R is the base model of the R series, keeping the Vision ONETEN character while adding a slow-floating setup and a working depth of around 1.7 m. It is made for situations where an ONETEN-style minnow is needed in a shallower layer, with stable casting and active action.
    ONETEN R was developed with Yuki Ito and Shinji Sato’s idea in mind: keep the sharp ONETEN movement, but tune the lure for both twitching and steadier retrieves. This makes it useful when fish react not only to hard rod snaps, but also to a calmer, more even minnow presentation.
    Inside, the lure uses a moving balancer system with one main tungsten weight. During the cast, the weight shifts toward the tail to improve casting distance and flight stability. Once the retrieve starts, it returns to the working position and the lure begins its action quickly.
    The slow-floating design helps control the lure on pauses. When stopped, ONETEN R rises slowly, making it comfortable to work over weed tops, along bank slopes, shallow edges, bays and near cover.
    In Lithuanian waters and similar conditions, ONETEN R is mainly useful for pike, but it also suits larger perch and zander. It is a good choice when a 110 mm minnow jerkbait is needed that twitches easily, responds well to rod taps and can be worked with pauses or a calmer stop-and-go retrieve.
