Megabass ONETEN R+3 Hi-FLOAT is a deeper running member of the ONETEN family, made for situations where the regular Vision ONETEN runs too shallow. The longer bill lets the lure reach a deeper water layer while keeping the lively minnow action of the ONETEN series.
Deep diving minnow jerkbaits often become heavier and less responsive, but ONETEN R+3 Hi-FLOAT keeps an active action. It can be fished with steady retrieves, twitching, stop-and-go retrieves or by diving the lure down and letting it rise during the pause.
The Hi-FLOAT buoyancy is the key feature of this model. After the lure reaches its working depth, the retrieve can be paused and the lure begins to rise. This helps cover different water layers, breaks, deeper weed edges, holes and places where pike are not holding right under the surface.
Inside the lure, the Low Mount Multiway Moving Balancer system uses tungsten weights that shift toward the tail during the cast. Once the retrieve starts, the weights return to the working position, so the lure starts quickly and keeps its natural action.
In Lithuanian waters and similar conditions, ONETEN R+3 Hi-FLOAT is mainly useful for pike when a deeper running lure is needed without switching to a sinking bait.
