Megabass SHADING-X R 62 is a compact shad-style lure with perch as the main focus. The 62 mm body and about 5.2 g weight also suit situations where pike, zander or other predators are feeding on smaller baitfish.
This model works well around weed edges, breaks, shallow flat edges, small holes and baitfish schools. Its compact size is especially attractive to perch, but it can also trigger cautious pike when larger lures look too big.
SHADING-X R 62 features the NEO TRIANGLE COUNTER BALANCING SYSTEM with one fixed weight and two moving balancers. During the cast, the system helps the lure fly stable; on retrieve, the shifting center of gravity helps the bait start quickly and keep a lively, tight action.
On a slow retrieve, the lure works subtly and responds to light rod input. When twitched, it moves sharper, flashes its sides and briefly changes its line, looking like a baitfish separated from the school or slightly injured.
One of the strongest points of this model is its natural, realistic color range. Wakasagi, small silver baitfish, perch and shad-style patterns work well in clearer water, when fish follow the lure carefully and avoid overly aggressive colors.
In Lithuanian waters and similar conditions, SHADING-X R 62 is often a logical choice for perch, but it is not limited to perch fishing. It also catches pike, zander and other predators when a compact, realistic lure is needed.
