Megabass SR-X GRIFFON shallow diving chub crankbait 43 mm 7 g

Megabass SR-X GRIFFON is an updated GRIFFON series crankbait made for shallow water and active searching. Its compact body starts quickly, produces a lively action and works well along rocks, weeds, shallow flats and other productive areas.
The new-generation GRIFFON body is designed to create strong vibration while keeping a stable track. When the lure hits a rock, branch or hard bottom feature, it deflects to the side and quickly returns to its running position. This irregular movement often triggers strikes right after contact with cover.
The lower weight chamber has been refined for faster weight recovery. After deflection, the weight returns to the center of the chamber more quickly, helping the lure keep its action and adding underwater sound. This is useful when predators hold close to cover or feed in short bursts in the shallows.
SR-X GRIFFON works best on a steady retrieve, slower stop & go presentation and contact with rocks or bottom irregularities. The floating body lets the angler pause the lure, let it rise and guide it more safely over grass or shallow cover.
In Lithuanian and European conditions, this model is suitable for chub, ide, perch and, in some situations, asp when fish are feeding high in the water or close to the surface. It is a good choice for rivers, current seams, shallow edges, rocky spots and shoreline zones.
SR-X GRIFFON is about 43 mm long and weighs about 7 g. It is a floating shallow diving crankbait running around 1.2–1.5 m. For a slightly deeper-running option from the same family, MR-X GRIFFON can be used.
