Pontoon21 AWARUNA 6.0'' is a large soft lure for big predators when a larger silhouette, clear action and strong visual signal in the water are needed.

The 6.0'' size is excellent for big pike, zander, catfish and other larger predatory fish. It is made for situations where small soft baits no longer attract bigger fish or when predators are feeding on their main forage fish.

Awaruna’s body proportions match the size of the natural forage fish that forms the primary food source of predators. In the large 6.0'' size, this effect becomes even stronger – the lure looks like a serious meal for a large predator.

This size is very well suited for pelagic fishing with live sonar. The large body is easy to track on the screen, helps follow the lure position more precisely and makes it easier to work around suspended fish. In these situations, the lure must be visible, stable and capable of triggering fish even on a slower presentation.

A central channel runs through the body of the lure. It helps rig the bait straight on a jig head or double hook, so Awaruna keeps the correct position and natural action in the water. A groove on the back allows the point of an offset hook to be hidden when a less snag-prone presentation is needed around grass, branches or cover.

The ribbed body adds extra life to the lure. Air bubbles stay between the ribs, and when they release, they create an additional visual trigger. This can help provoke a strike when fish follow the lure but hesitate to attack.

The original body shape together with the active tail generates clear vibrations in the water. Side ribs enrich the action with small details, so Awaruna does not look inactive even during a slow retrieve or pauses.

Soft Gumexim plastic keeps the lure action lively while helping the bait hold its shape and stay securely on the hook. The material is more resistant to predator teeth, allowing the lure to withstand more bites than a very soft standard silicone bait.

The SFT attractant used in the Homunculures series has a softer, more natural scent. It is not harsh or artificially aggressive, so predators often hold the lure longer in the mouth. This gives the angler more time to set the hook, especially during cautious bites.

Rincoal colouring technology gives the colours a deeper, almost inner-glow effect. Because of this, the lure does not look simply painted – the colours remain livelier and more natural in the water.
