Pontoon21 Chaos 72F-SR is a 72 mm, 9.3 g floating (F) lure with a running depth of 1.0–1.2 m. It is distinguished by highly active action combining pronounced wobbling with expressive rolling.
One of the key advantages of Chaos is the combination of active movement and high stability. Despite its intense action, the lure remains controlled and stable in both still water and current. This makes Chaos 72F-SR particularly useful for salmon and sea trout fishing in rivers, especially in shallower sections where an active lure with reliable current stability is required.
The lure uses the TMB (Tungsten Moving Balls) system with a moving tungsten weight. During casting, the weight helps stabilize the lure in flight and improves casting distance. This is especially useful in river fishing when a distant current lane or other productive area needs to be reached.
Internal balls also create an acoustic effect. The combination of active movement, visual flash and sound helps attract predators.
The SR version runs at 1.0–1.2 m. This range is practical for shallower river sections, riffles, faster current areas and places where the lure needs to pass above rocks or other underwater obstacles. In lakes it is also useful over submerged vegetation and in shallow areas.
Chaos 72F-SR can be fished with a steady retrieve, stop-and-go, light jerks and subtle twitching. Its strong built-in action means that a simple steady retrieve is already an effective presentation.
The 72 mm size is highly versatile. The lure can be used for salmon and sea trout in rivers as well as pike and perch. Its compact 9.3 g body also provides convenient and accurate casting.
As a floating F model, Chaos rises during pauses. This can be used to vary the retrieve rhythm or allow the lure to rise over an obstacle.
Chaos 72F-SR is equipped with Owner ST-36BC treble hooks.
