Pontoon21 Cheeky 80F-SR – lure 80 mm 8.6 g

Pontoon21 Cheeky 80F-SR is an 80 mm, 8.6 g floating lure with an exceptionally lively, active and varied action. The SR version runs at approximately 0.8–1.2 m. Cheeky was designed primarily for active presentations and reveals its strongest qualities when twitching with different jerk strengths and frequencies.

Cheeky can also be fished with a steady retrieve and maintains provocative action even at slow speed. Its main advantage, however, is the way it responds to irregular manipulation. When twitched, the lure produces a wide variety of turns and sudden sideways movements, allowing the angler to create different actions by changing each jerk.

This lively movement is generated by an original internal balancing design. The Koto-Koto Balance System consists of three semi-moving metal balls. A separate upper chamber contains another three smaller balls that move freely. Together, these two systems continuously shift the lure's centre of gravity and create the distinctive lively and unpredictable Cheeky action.

The lure responds very well to rod movements. Short rapid twitches, stronger individual jerks, Stop & Go and combinations of these techniques can all be used, making it easy to adapt the presentation to predator activity.

The 0.8–1.2 m running depth is well suited to shallow bays, banks, areas above submerged vegetation and other places where pike and perch hunt. Its floating buoyancy allows the lure to rise during pauses, helping it pass above vegetation and obstacles.

The 80 mm size is highly versatile: large enough to attract pike while remaining suitable for perch. Its active, wide and unpredictable movement is particularly useful when a predator needs to be provoked into striking.

Pontoon21 Cheeky 80F-SR is an excellent choice for anglers who enjoy actively controlling a hard lure. The Koto-Koto Balance System, additional ball chamber and floating construction provide a wide range of presentation possibilities.
