St. Croix Legend Elite ES76MLXF2 – two-piece spinning rod 7 ft 6 in 1/8–3/8 oz Extra Fast

St. Croix Legend Elite ES76MLXF2 is a 7 ft 6 in two-piece Medium Light spinning rod rated for 1/8–3/8 oz lures. Its Extra Fast action is particularly well suited to light jigging and other techniques requiring precise lure control and clear bite transmission. The 7 ft 6 in length helps cast light lures farther and improves line control from the bank, while remaining practical for boat fishing. The two-piece rod is easier to transport and store when disassembled.
Blank and technologies. The main section of the blank uses high-modulus SCV carbon, while the lower section is reinforced with super-high-modulus SCVI carbon. SCV and SCVI carbon with FRS provide strength and reserve power while keeping weight low. IPC creates a smoother blank taper, while TET refines its profile and bending curve. ART reinforces high-stress areas and helps the blank resist ovalisation under heavy load. A slim-profile ferrule joins the two blank sections and helps preserve a smooth loading curve.
Action and application. Under a light load, the Extra Fast blank bends mainly in its upper section. It clearly transmits bottom contact from a light jig, lure action and subtle bites for a quick hook-set.
