St. Croix Triumph 27TSHC106MLF2 is a two-piece 10 ft 6 in salmon and steelhead casting rod designed for a baitcasting reel and 1/4–3/4 oz lures. Its Medium Light power and Fast action are intended primarily for bank fishing for salmon and steelhead in larger rivers. The 10 ft 6 in length supports longer casts with lighter hard lures, spoons and spinners, lifts more line above the water and improves lure-path control in current. In Lithuania, this model is also suitable for asp. The current Triumph Salmon & Steelhead range is produced in place of the former Avid Salmon & Steelhead series, one of the brand's most popular ranges among salmon anglers.
Blank and components. The blank is made from SCII carbon fibre. Stainless-steel guide frames with aluminium-oxide rings are wrapped onto the blank. The nylon casting reel seat is paired with a Premium cork handle and a cork-composite butt cap. Its two-piece construction is convenient to transport and store.
