Pontoon21 CrackJack 98F-DR – floating deep-running minnow lure 98 mm 16 g

CrackJack 98 is the largest and only minnow lure in the CrackJack series. The floating 98F-DR version is 98 mm long, weighs 16 g and runs at 2.0–2.5 m when casting or about 3.5–5 m when trolling. It targets pike, perch, zander and asp.
Key features. The large, wide DR lip creates powerful Swimming action by combining rolling around the longitudinal axis with side-to-side wobbling. The lure remains stable on slow and fast retrieves and in current. The MFB system improves casting distance and locks the ball with a magnet during retrieval. When twitched, CrackJack 98F-DR rolls and darts actively; after stopping, it continues to tremble briefly and can provoke passive fish.
Action and application. Use a steady retrieve with speed changes and pauses, twitching or trolling. The floating body rises during a pause, helping the lure clear snags and debris; in its working position, the body partly shields the trebles. This is especially useful for autumn pike fishing. Quality Owner treble hooks are fitted. The CrackJack series also includes 38, 48, 58 and 78 mm models, while CrackJack 98 comes in F and SP buoyancy and SR, MR and DR depth versions.
